Blade is made by PT Riset Digital Nusantara. This page covers both this website and the Blade desktop app, and describes what actually happens to your data rather than what we might one day like to do with it.

  • This website runs one advertising tracker (Meta) and nothing else.
  • The app needs an account, and stores your analysis conversations so you can reopen them.
  • Files in your workspace stay on your computer until you ask Blade to read one.
  • Your analysis is processed by a third-party AI provider. Today that is OpenAI.
  • We do not sell personal data.

This website

Advertising pixel

Every page on bladestatistics.com loads the Meta pixel. It reports that you viewed the page, and — if you click a download link — that a download started, along with the platform, processor architecture, app version and page language. Meta receives your IP address, your browser's user agent and the page address, and sets cookies in your browser. We use this only to measure whether our ads reach people who find Blade useful.

To avoid it, use a content blocker, or adjust your Meta ad settings. Blocking it changes nothing about the site or the app.

Language preference

Choosing a language stores the code in your browser under bladeLang, so the site stops guessing on your next visit. It stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.

Hosting

The site is served by GitHub Pages, which keeps standard web-server logs including IP addresses.

The desktop app

Your account

An email address, optionally a name, a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself), and which organisation you belong to. Sign-in codes are delivered by email.

Conversations and analyses

What you ask Blade, what it answers, and the results of the statistical tools it runs are stored so a session survives closing the app. Each analysis keeps the R code that produced it and the numbers that came back.

Your files

Blade runs its tools on your own machine. The contents of your workspace are not uploaded, and we cannot browse your disk. What does leave your computer is whatever the model is shown in the course of answering you: the text of a file it opens, the output of a command it runs, and the contents of a dataset you point it at. If a file is sensitive, do not ask Blade to read it.

Datasets you deliberately upload to the cloud workspace are stored on Cloudflare R2.

AI processing

Blade sends requests to the third-party AI provider serving the selected model. Depending on the available model and server configuration, providers may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Z.AI, DeepSeek, and Alibaba DashScope (Qwen). A request can include your conversation, file contents the assistant reads, and tool output. Selecting another model can change which provider receives subsequent requests and conversation context.

Providers process requests under their respective service terms and data policies. Processing location and retention depend on the provider and service configuration. Do not include confidential or personal information in a conversation or workspace unless you are authorized to send it for AI processing. We update this page when the available providers change.

Payments

Pro payments are handled by Xendit. Xendit receives the information needed to complete your QRIS or bank virtual account payment. We receive the payment status, reference, amount, and the email associated with the Blade account. We do not receive your bank credentials.

Feedback

If you send feedback from inside the app we receive your message together with your app version and platform, so a bug report is actionable.

How long we keep it

Conversations, analyses and uploaded datasets are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Account records are kept while the account exists. Deleting your account removes your conversations, analyses and datasets along with it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the UK, the EU, or another jurisdiction with equivalent law, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, and to receive your data in a portable form. Email privacy@bladestatistics.com and we will act within 30 days.

To erase everything we hold, see deleting your data, which sets out exactly what is removed and how long it takes.

Children

Blade is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this page changes materially we update the date at the top. For a change that affects what leaves your computer, we will say so in the app.
